Live Event and Promotion
To achieve the full National Award in Live Events and Promotion, you are required to complete all nine units at this level.

Unit 1 Contribute to the promotion of live events
- Element 1.1 Support the production and distribution of publicity material and press releases
- Element 1.2 Develop positive relationships with media and community
Unit 2 Make sure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety (ENTO)
- Element 2.1 Identify the hazards and evaluate risks in your workplace
- Element 2.2 Reduce the risks to health and safety in the workplace
Unit 3 Provide support to maintain security for live events
- Element 3.1 Identify potential security threats
- Element 3.2 Take action to deal with potential security threats
Unit 4 Contribute to license application for live events
- Element 4.1 Support the license application process
- Element 4.2 Contribute to arranging insurance for a live event
- Element 4.3 Assist in planning an event
Unit 5 Plan a live event
- Element 5.1 Assist in planning an event
Unit 6 Book venues for live events
- Element 6.1 Identify appropriate venues
- Element 6.2 Assist in booking a venue
Unit 7 Help to provide technical support for performers at live events
- Element 7.1 Maintain and safeguard equipment
- Element 7.2 Work with others to provide technical support
Unit 8 Help to provide stage management support
- Element 8.1 Set up a technical equipment
- Element 8.2 Assist in the co-ordination of staff to support live events
Unit 9 Support artists performance at live events
- Element 9.1 Maintain a diary in support of release and event dates
- Element 9.2 Communicate with artists and colleagues effectively
Live Event and Promotion Level 3
To achieve the full National Award in Cultural Heritage Venue Operations, you are required to complete all eight of the units at Level 3.
