Live Event and Promotion Level 3

To achieve the full National Award in Live Events and Promotion, you are required to complete all nine units at this level.

UNIT2 Make sure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety

  • Element 2.1 Identify the hazards and evaluate the risks in your workplace
  • Element 2.2 Reduce the risks to health and safety in your workplace

Unit 3 Maintain security for live events

  • Element 3.1 Identify and assess potential security threats
  • Element 3.2 Make arrangements for security for a live event

Unit 4 Make licence applications for live events

  • Element 4.1 Make licence application for a live event
  • Element 4.2 Arrange insurance for a live event
  • Element 4.3 Arrange planning permission to use a site for a live event

Unit 5 Plan and evaluate a live event

  • Element 5.1 Plan a live event
  • Element 5.2 Evaluate a live event

Unit 6 Assess and book venues for live events

  • Element 6.1 Select appropriate venues for live events
  • Element 6.2 Book a venue

Unit 7 Provide technical support for performers at live events

  • Element 7.1 Maintain and safeguard equipment
  • Element 7.2 Provide technical support

Unit 8 Provide stage management support at live events

  • Element 8.1 Set up technical equipment
  • Element 8.2 Co-ordinate staff to support live events

Unit 9 Support and manage artists performing at live events

  • Element 9.1 Set up and maintain a diary in support of release and event dates
  • Element 9.2 Communicate with artists and colleagues effectively

Live Event and Promotion Level 2

To achieve the full National Award in Cultural Heritage Venue Operations, you are required to complete all eight of the units at Level 2.
